Are you interested in a career in journalism, reporting, the media or politics? Join the Columbia College Alumni Association and MaryAlice Parks CC'9 JRN'13 this Thursday, April 9 from 12:30pm-1:30pm ET via Zoom to learn about MaryAlice’s journey from the College to ABC News. MaryAlice is the Deputy Political Director at ABC News and a senior member of the Washington Bureau’s editorial and management team. She helps oversee national and political coverage for ABC News and supervises the network’s team of political reporters. In her role, she helps guide the network through political special events, including primary night, conventions and debates. She often appears on-screen to provide political insights on various ABC News platforms, such as 'ABC News Live Prime' and 'This Week with George Stephanopoulos.' She is also the co-author of ABC News’ political tip sheet, ‘The Note.’ MaryAlice was raised in Tacoma, WA and is a graduate of Columbia College at Columbia University as well as Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
