Alumni-Hosted Dinner Week Lottery: Rita Pietropinto-Kitt CC '93

Alumni Hosted Dinners are a series of casual dinners that take place once a semester that give Columbia College students the opportunity to chat and connect with Columbia College Alumni.

Rita Pietropinto-Kitt CC'93is the current Chair of the Columbia Alumni Association, a Board Member of the Columbia College Alumni Association and an adjunct professor in the Department of Theatre at Barnard. She is the Chair of the drama department at the Marymount School of New York where she has been an educator and director for the past twenty years. She has acted on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, and in television and film. Rita has been dedicated to service and the arts since her time as a Columbia College student. Her roles included that of class president, resident assistant, orientation coordinator, and Community Impact volunteer. After graduating from Columbia College, she received an M.F.A. in Theater from Columbia School of the Arts. In 2016, she received the University Alumni Medal of Excellence from President Bollinger for more than 10 years of distinguished service.
