Join us for a tour of the Museum at The Times, a panel of New York Times leaders with Q&A, and a Newsroom tour. Hosted by Senior Staff Editor, Elizabeth Yuan CC'96 JN'98. Hear about the panelists individual journeys from Columbia College to now. They look forward to sharing their stories with you and fielding any questions you might have. Lunch and soft drinks will be served.

Panelist Bio's Below:
Elizabeth Yuan CC'96 JN'98 is a senior staff editor on the Flexible Editing desk at The New York Times. She previously worked at The Wall Street Journal in New York for nine years and at CNN, both in Atlanta at its headquarters and in Hong Kong, for 14 years. She also distributed a Greek movie, “Hard Goodbyes: My Father.”
She is a graduate of Columbia Journalism School, with a broadcast concentration, and of Columbia College, where she double-majored in English and French. She has been an organizer of her class reunions at both schools and is vice president of Columbia College Women.
Michael Rothfeld CC'93 JN'98 has been an investigative reporter for The New York Times since 2019, writing in-depth stories on New York City government, business and personalities. He was on The Wall Street Journal’s team that won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize in national reporting for coverage of President Trump’s secret payoffs to women during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Michael followed up that reporting as co-author of the book “The Fixers.”
Michael also reported for The Los Angeles Times, Newsday and The Philadelphia Enquirer. He is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia Journalism School, where he was awarded the Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship.
Miya Matsumoto Lee CC'18 is the editor of Modern Love projects at The New York Times. She evaluates and edits submissions to Tiny Love Stories and Modern Love and is involved in all other aspects of the franchise from the podcast to TV. Lee also is co-editor of the book “Tiny Love Stories: True Tales of Love in 100 Words or Less” from Artisan Books.
Lee interned at Farrar, Straus and Giroux, Art21 and The Delacorte Review at Columbia Journalism School. She was a John Jay Scholar and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in American Studies and English.
